The length of the fishing area is 4 kilometres, and it has the largest number of challenging and rewarding fishing spots in the entire Kymijoki region. Salmon and trout begin their annual run to spawning sites in early July, and it continues until the autumn. In the early spring and late in the season, big trout also come to hunt in the river.
