The Korkeakoski casting pier

The Korkeakoski casting pier is the most famous place in Kymijoki for fishing big salmon and trout. Dozens, even hundreds of over 10-kilogram salmon are caught at the casting pier every year. The place is perhaps even more famous for its big trout; more sea trout of over 5 kilograms are caught there every season than at any other fishing spot in southern Finland. The reliability of a good catch is improved by liberal planting of rainbow trout in the early spring. The casting pier is available to us exclusively in the spring for our corporate events, where the reliability of catching rainbow trout is 100%. We also organize whitefish fishing days, where the amounts of silversides caught are sometimes quite copious. There is also a restaurant in the area, Kalastuskievari, where we will enjoy our coffee and meals. Kalastuspiste Kotka provides all equipment and gear needed for fishing.
